These terms do not remove rights or remedies you have under mandatory consumer law.

1. Accepting these terms

By using Holy Bible Meditation, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be legally able to accept these terms; children must have any consent required by local law.

2. What we provide

The Service provides Scripture readings, devotional reflections, prayers, guided audio, personalisation, bookmarks, and progress tools. Features, content, and availability may change as we improve the Service. We do not promise that every feature or piece of content will always remain available.

3. Spiritual support—not professional or emergency care

The Service is for general spiritual and educational support. It is not medical, mental-health, crisis, legal, financial, safeguarding, or other professional advice and does not create a pastoral, therapeutic, or professional relationship. Do not delay qualified care because of content in the Service.

If you or another person may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. For abuse, threats, stalking, weapons, violence, self-harm, or inability to function safely, prioritise safety and qualified local help. The Service does not promise healing, freedom from addiction, reconciliation, financial improvement, or any particular result.

4. Accounts

An account is optional for reading available content but required for cloud synchronisation. Provide accurate information, protect access to your email and device, and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless law provides otherwise. You can delete your account inside the app; see Account Deletion.

5. Content and acceptable use

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service and its original content for private, non-commercial purposes. Scripture translations remain subject to their own public-domain status or attribution terms. Audio, music, design, and original writing may not be copied, resold, redistributed, scraped, or used to train a commercial model without written permission.

Do not misuse the Service, bypass security, interfere with other users, introduce malicious code, automate abusive requests, impersonate others, or use the Service unlawfully. We may restrict access reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, or comply with law.

6. Purchases and subscriptions

No paid subscription is currently offered. If paid features are introduced, the price, billing period, free-trial terms, and renewal conditions will be shown before purchase. Purchases through Apple are billed and managed by Apple under the terms presented at purchase. Unless cancelled through your Apple account at least 24 hours before the current period ends, an auto-renewing subscription may renew as disclosed at purchase. Deleting an app or account does not by itself cancel an Apple subscription. See Subscription Information.

7. Apple App Store terms

For an iOS download, Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the Service or support. Your app licence is also subject to the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a different valid end-user licence is presented. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of applicable iOS licence terms and may enforce them.

8. Third-party services and links

The Service may depend on hosting, email, app-store, and media infrastructure or link to external resources. We are not responsible for independent third-party services, their content, or their privacy practices. Their terms may apply separately.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim implied warranties that can lawfully be excluded. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes guarantees, remedies, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law rights.

10. Suspension, termination, and changes

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated misuse, security risk, non-payment of future paid services, or legal necessity, using reasonable notice where appropriate. We may update these terms and will identify the new effective date; material changes will receive additional notice when required.

11. Governing principles

These terms are governed by applicable Australian law, while preserving mandatory consumer and privacy rights in your jurisdiction. Before formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Courts or tribunals with lawful jurisdiction may hear unresolved disputes.
